Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) invites students and families to navigate college and career opportunities at the 2026 College & Career Fair on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5–8 p.m. at the  OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa.

This free event gives students and families the chance to gather information, ask questions, and connect with people who can help them plan their next steps. Attendees can visit with representatives from colleges, universities, and international schools; meet business and industry professionals; and learn about scholarships and local community resources that support their education. No registration is required.

Families with elementary and middle school students are also encouraged to attend. Students can learn about programs offered at their future middle and high schools and take part in fun, hands-on activities in the Pathway Playground. The interactive experience introduces students to Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways that align with their growing interests and strengths.

The evening will feature a variety of workshops covering topics such as earning college credit while in high school, applying for financial aid, NCAA recruiting and scholarships, apprenticeships, and planning for future success.

New this year, families can attend sessions focused on accommodations and accessibility guidance for students with disabilities, providing information and resources to help students successfully transition to college and access support services in higher education.

Whatever direction students are headed, the 2026 College & Career Fair is the place to chart it. For more information, visit the College & Career Fair webpage or contact Lisa Snowden at 714-424-5036.
