May CAHSEE Dates

CAHSEE (Exit Exam) testing takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 14 (English) and 15 (Math).  It's very important that students attend on those days as the CAHSEE is one of the most important tests high school students take.  If you have passed the test...congratulations, but you must still attend school on those days and go to y our regularly assigned classes.

CALLING ALL YOUNG ARTISTS WHOSE LIVES HAVE

BEEN TOUCHED BY EPILEPSY!

We are pleased to announce our search for art produced by high school students whose lives have been touched by epilepsy!

Several young artists will be chosen to feature their work on October 6, 2013 at the

2nd Annual "Hidden Truths" Art Exhibit held at the Susan Nelson Gallery in Newport Beach.

Help raise awareness and educate our community about living with epilepsy!

Proceeds generated from the "Hidden Truths" exhibit directly benefit the Epilepsy Therapy Project, a division of the Epilepsy Foundation.

These monies are used to accelerate innovative new therapies from the laboratory to individuals living with epilepsy.

If interested please pick-up an entry form at your school nurses office and return by June 1, 2013

For more information or questions please contact Jil Wexler, jamwex@cox.net or call (949) 500-6701.

Grad Nite Tix on Sale NOW!! Deadline Approaching!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grad Nite tickets are on sale NOW!   To guarantee a ticket for Grad Nite at Disneyland you must pay by May 1st.  In order to secure tickets, we have to prepay 45 days in advance for all students attending Grad Nite.

We will be boarding the bus and leaving Back Bay on Thursday, June 13th at 5 pm.  At the end of Grad Night, we will board the bus and return from Disneyland at 3 am.  This will give us about 9 hours of Grad Nite excitement.  We will have access to both parks (Disneyland and California Adventure) until Disneyland closes at *10 pm then we will finish the night in California Adventure.

Both parks are open regular business hours that Thursday.  If you have a season pass you could go on your own, but you would not be able to participate in the exclusive Grad Nite only party in California Adventure from *10 pm to 3 am.  Those that purchase tickets and attend Grad Nite must ride the bus to Disney and return on the bus from Disney.
